Members of the media are invited to take part in the Official Opening of the Sitting of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP) Permanent Committees and other PAP organs of the sixth Parliament on 6th March 2023. The Sitting will run until 17th March 2023 under the African Union (AU) theme for 2023 “Year of AfCFTA: Acceleration of the African Continental Free Trade Area Implementation”.
The opening ceremony will be officiated by H.E Chief Fortune Charumbira, President of the PAP. The keynote address will be delivered by Guest of Honour, Hon. Candith Mashego-Dhlamini, Deputy Minister of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, Republic of South Africa.
