As we join the rest of the world in commemorating International Women's Day today, the Pan-African Parliament hails the incredible achievements and immeasurable contributions that women across our continent have made and continue to make in pursuit of gender parity.
We honor the strength, resilience, and brilliance of our mothers, sisters, daughters and leaders in advancing the emancipation of women and the girl child. As we unite under the 2025 theme, "Accelerate Action,” it is a call to push forward, ensuring women across Africa reach their fullest potential.
Through our Women Caucus, we continue to reaffirm our commitment to advancing gender equality across our continent. We are dedicated to advancing the enactment of policies that empower women, dismantle gender barriers, and create an inclusive society where everyone, regardless of gender, can thrive.
